Scientists agree that improving the water quality of freshwater and coastal marine ecosystems requires reductions in both nitrogen and phosphorus loads. AquaFiber has been working for almost a decade to develop technologies and processes that remove these nutrients and other pollutants from surface waters efficiently and with small facility foot prints. This leaves more land available for ecosystem restoration or other land uses and clean water to address the water needs of a thirsty world.
